Golf is being played as part of the Games for the first time, with both 12-and-under and 17-and-under age groups.
The Victorian 12-and-under team will include Kennington Primary School’s Morten Hafkamp and Weeroona College’s Jazy Roberts, while Bendigo Senior Secondary College’s Jarrett Miles has been selected in the 17-and-under team.
All three are members of Neangar Park, with Hafkamp having been named captain of the under-12 boys team.
The managers of the under-12 team are also from Bendigo – Todd Canobie and Rebecca Woods.
The under-12 age group will begin its campaign with ambrose on day one, followed by three days of 18-hole stroke competition.
The 17-and-under age group will open with a 36-hole stroke play event, followed by two days of 36 holes of match play. They will then play 18 holes of match play on the final day.
The teams will play a different course every day, including Glenelg, Mt Osmond, Adelaide Shores and Kooyonga.
Golf is one of 11 sports being played at the Pacific School Games.
Others sports include basketball, diving, football, goalball, hockey, netball, softball, swimming, touch football and athletics
