Inglewood – which only won one game last season – notched its second victory on the trot with a 25-run win over Kingower on Saturday.
Starting the day at 0-33, Inglewood won by 25 runs as it answered Kingower’s 114 with 139, which featured 47 from opener Rhys Roberts.
Inglewood got over the line despite some anxious moments when it fell from a comfortable 1-85 to 7-106.
Nick Leach (4-35) and Jayden Leach (3-29) combined for seven wickets for Kingower.
• Arnold inflicted Newbridge’s third outright defeat in the opening four rounds.
With Ashley Younghusband making 57, Arnold declared at 4-145 in reply to Newbridge’s 86.
The depleted Newbridge, which had just seven players, had an improved second innings score of 103, before Arnold raced to 1-65 off six overs to secure the maximum points and move to the top of the ladder.
• Wedderburn squared its ledger at 2-2 after defeating Boort-Yando by 34 runs thanks to a superb spell from Adam Postle.
Postle bagged 7-38 off 23 overs, including 10 maidens, as Boort-Yando was all out for 121 in reply to Wedderburn’s 155.
Postle’s seven-for took his tally of wickets for the season to 17.
• Serpentine moved into the top four after its win over Bridgewater courtesy of a forfeit.

NORTHERN UNITED
Saturday’s Northern United match between Elmore and Goornong lasted just 21.4 overs as the Redbacks cruised to a 10-wicket win.
On the back of another starring performance with the ball from Elmore’s Matt Gilmour (6-14), the Redbacks took just 18.1 overs to bowl Goornong out for 41.
Gilmour has now taken 16-29 off 19.3 overs in his past three games.
The Redbacks wasted no time chasing the runs, needing just 3.3 overs to reach 0-42 to maintain their unbeaten record, while keeping the struggling Mountain Goats winless.
• Dingee made it five wins in a row after defeating Raywood by four wickets.
Raywood reached 9-117 off its 40 overs after being sent in, before Dingee answered with 6-118, with Scott Lawry finishing 54 n.o.
• A knock of 55 from recruit Shane Cox helped Heathcote post a winning score against Colbinabbin.
Batting first, Heathcote compiled 166, which proved a target beyond the Ducks, who were all out for 113 in an innings where they were under pressure early at 5-37.
• A five-wicket haul to Jordan Hamilton highlighted Bagshot’s win over Calivil.
Hamilton claimed 5-13 as Bagshot routed Calivil – which lost its last four wickets for just three runs – for 63.
In reply Bagshot took 19 overs to answer with 5-66 and improve to 3-3, while inflicting Calivil’s third-consecutive loss.
