The five-day electronic music festival is at the Elmore Events Centre for the first time.
The music festival has been held in Pyalong each year since 2013, but earlier this year Mitchell Shire Council refused to grant permission amid concerns about drugs, alcohol use and traffic offences.
The Elmore event started in stifling heat on Thursday, and drew both international and local festival-goers.
