The AFL’s 2017 National Draft will be held in Sydney, with the Pioneers having one of their strongest hands with the likes of Paddy Dow, Jarrod Brander, Brent Daniels, Lochie O’Brien, Kane Farrell, Angus Schumacher and Bailey Henderson all on the draft radar.
The contingent of strong chances comes 20 years since the Pioneers produced their greatest draft haul when seven players – including a pair of 200-gamers in Chris Tarrant and Dean Solomon – were drafted in 1997.
