THREE men have been arrested in relation to an alleged burglary of $50,000 worth of farming equipment from a Bealiba property.

Central Goldfields Crime Investigation Unit detectives and members from the Geelong High Volume Crime Team yesterday searched properties in Bannockburn, Hamlin Heights, and Lara, which led to the arrests.
A number of pieces of farming equipment, which police believe to have been stolen, several firearms and ammunition were recovered during the searches.
A 36-year-old man from Lara was charged and bailed for a number of offences including burglary and theft.
He is expected to appear at the Geelong Magistrates’ Court on February 27.
A 49-year-old man from Bannockburn was released pending summons in relation to alleged firearm offences.
A 41-year-old man from Hamlin Heights was released pending summons in relation to possessing proceeds of crime.
About $50,000 worth of farming equipment was reported stolen from a farm in Bealiba between October 29 and November 2.
