The former Men at Work frontman has just released his 13th solo album – Fierce Mercy.
"I am excited to be coming down to Australia, playing both new and old songs, in the heat of the summer,” Hay said.
“I will be accompanied by my LA based band of immigrants, hailing from Cuba, Guatemala and Peru. By now it's more or less a family affair, and they are my favourite people, both to play and tour with.”
In 2016, Hay enjoyed a resurgence ahead of the albums release with appearances on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel Live.
He also shared the stage with Of Monsters and Men and Kings of Leon as well as completing a documentary film about his career titled Waiting for My Real Life.
Colin Hay is at Ulumbarra Theatre on February 9. Visit www.thecapital.com.au/Whats_On to book tickets.
