Firstly Gilmour top-scored with 84 opening the batting in the Redbacks’ 186 after being sent in by Bagshot.
Gilmour then dominated with the ball, bagging 5-5 off 3.1 overs to spearhead a collapse in which Bagshot fell from 3-97 to all out for 111.
Gilmour’s wasn’t the only five-wicket haul of the game, with Bagshot’s Kyn Wheelhouse also taking 5-28 off eight overs.
• Captain Chris Guinane’s 88 set up Colbinabbin’s second win of the season against Calivil.
The Ducks compiled 6-163 off their 40 overs after being sent in, with Guinane’s innings alone enough to beat Calivil, which was restricted to just 84.
• Reigning premier Dingee won its fourth game in a row, defeating Heathcote by 32 runs.
Heathcote was bowled out for 111 batting first, with Brenton Conforti (51 n.o.) and opener Joel Condon (29) combining to score 80 of the team’s runs.
The Blowies answered with 6-143, led by 47 from Scott Lawry.
• It was a quick match between Goornong and Raywood that lasted just 32 overs.
A depleted Goornong that batted with just eight players was bowled out for 49 in the 17th over, before Raywood answered with 2-55 off 15 to win by eight wickets.
