The Bendigo leg of the relay will begin near Queen Elizabeth Oval on February 14 before heading down to Rosalind Park, where there will be a community celebration in the piazza at 9.30am.
It will then be carried along Pall Mall, up Chapel Street and along Hargreaves Street, before travelling up Williamson Street, into Myers Street and back down through Hopetoun and Baxter streets and back onto the Napier Street to Lake Weeroona, from where it will go to Shepparton.
The route will require the closure of the city centre for most of the morning.
Eighteen people have been selected to carry the baton in Bendigo, chosen after a community nomination process.
The baton will be in Echuca on February 15, then Murrabit, Kerang and Swan Hill the following day.
