Miller-Heidke has announced a series of regional shows for early next year with Bendigo one of three Victorian shows included.
As well as her Ulumbarra performance on February 23, Miller-Heidke will perform in Wangaratta on February 24 and the Melbourne Zoo Twilight Sessions on March 10.
Fans can expect to hear exciting new versions of some of her most beloved songs, as well as surprises from the back catalogue.
Adaptations of songs from her opera The Rabbits, as well as a sneak peak of new material will also be featured in her shows.
Last year, Miller-Heidke spent time performing a suite of her songs with symphony orchestras around the company.
She has also been busy in the theatrical world, composing the music and lyrics for Muriel’s Wedding: The Musical which premieres in Sydney on November 18.
"I’ve spent much of the last year holed up writing 'Muriel's Wedding: The Musical' with Keir Nuttall, and now that it’s ready to unleash upon the world,” she said.
“I can’t wait to get back on the road - along with some new friends.
“These new arrangements with a string quartet are so much fun to play, and I’m really excited to perform them for you in some of the most beautiful theatres and locations around the country.”
Kate Miller-Heidke performs at Ulumbarra Theatre on February 23.
