The exhibition – which also includes contemporary prints of work by Henri Matisse, Salvador Dali and Sidney Nolan – opens on Saturday and is on display until December 23.
Ceramic pieces include works from the 1880s and pieces that were given as prizes at the Bendigo Easter Fair in the 1940s.
“The ceramic dogs were handed out as prizes and the big urns and water coolers date back to the 1880s,” curator James Dunn said.
The Bendigo Pottery Club provided the ceramic pieces for the exhibition while a the prnits come from a local, private collection.
“All from a Bendigo collection that is for sale. it’s great for nedigo to ahve this quality of work here and also for sale,” Mr Dunn said.
