A truck crashed into the Victoria Road rail bridge at Harcourt after 9pm, forcing services to be delayed until the track was inspected.
EARLIER: EMERGENCY services are at the scene of a crash involving a livestock truck.
The vehicle hit the Victoria Road rail bridge in Harcourt, near the intersection of Symes Road.
Police and CFA are among the services responding.
A V/Line technician has been requested to check the bridge for any damage.
Units were called to the scene about 9.22pm on Wednesday.
“Trains will not be able to resume on the line until Victoria Police gives the all clear and the track is inspected,” a V/Line spokesperson said.
“This information is being communicated to passengers via announcements on board the train, and announcements at stations for those travelling from stations down the line.”
