A range of activities will be on offer in the street and Hargreaves Mall for families as part of National Children's Week and Bike Palooza Bendigo.
Williamson Street will become a no-go zone for vehicles between 11am and 2pm, from Hargreaves Street to Lyttleton Terrace, so families can walk, ride, scoot and play in safety.
Bike Bendigo will be on hand to assist with bike and scooter riding, and there will also be a scavenger hunt, live entertainment with the Music Man, helium balloons, a basketball shoot out with the Bendigo Spirit and more.
Activities in the mall will include onstage entertainment by the Rrrrockets, Indigenous Hip Hop Group, CV Lion Dancers and the Mudcakes.
There will also be animal displays, jumping castle, archery, face-painting, balloon twisting, LEGO play, a photo booth, virtual reality experiences and a mobile play zone.
Scope will also be fundraising on the day with fruit kebabs and the Kangaroo Flat Rotary Club will host a sausage sizzle.
The event runs from 11am to 2pm on October 28. Adult supervision is required.
