The El Disaster Mallee Run will see riders and drivers leave Bendigo on November 6 and travel through towns such as Durham Ox, Birchip, Brim, Halls Gap, Maryborough and Castlemaine, before arriving back home on November 10.
Last year, the inaugural El Disaster Mallee Run raised more than $1100 for the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia, and this year, organisers are hoping to double the number of participants to 120.
Beanies, T-shirts, stubbie holders and a raffle are also part of the fundraising efforts, along with the entrance fee of $25.
For the first time, organisers are also hosting two days of events before the ride, with drag-racing at the Heathcote Dragstrip on Saturday, November 4, and a “Flathead Sunday” the following day at the Axe Creek Cricket Club.
Proceeds from the Sunday event will go towards men’s health in Bendigo.
