The company, which predominantly services the dairy industry, hopes the acquisition of the two centres – operating as the Terang and Mortlake Veterinary Clinic (TMVC) – will expand dairy and beef services, products and genetics in the region.
“Growth via acquisition continues to be a fundamental part of our business strategy in order to deliver new revenue streams and leverage our enlarged cost base and infrastructure,” Apiam managing director Dr Chris Richards said.
“Terang and Mortlake Veterinary Clinic is an excellent business, with an experienced veterinary and support team, which hold a very strong market position in this important Victorian agricultural region.”
Apiam Animal Health – based in East Bendigo – has over 100 veterinarians with expertise across the pig, dairy, feedlot, sheep, equine, and companion animal sectors.
