Veteran Australian actor Judith McGrath has died at the age of 70.

McGrath was a stalwart of Australian TV, known in particular for her long-running roles in Prisoner and All Saints.
She was one of the original cast members of the latter, starring as Yvonne 'Von' Ryan from the first episode through to the program's closure in 2009.
She had earlier won fame as Colleen Powell, the 'Po Faced' deputy governor in Prisoner.
McGrath, who started her acting career on stage with the Brisbane Arts Theatre, appeared in a swathe of other Australian dramas, including A Country Practice, The Flying Doctors, Neighbours and Winners & Losers.
