SMOKE will be visible throughout central and northern Victoria in the coming days as Forest Fire Management Victoria prepares to carry out planned burns.

On Monday, planned burns will take place over 41 hectares one kilometre north east of Rushworth, on the Rushworth-Muhlans Road.
Another burn will be carried out north of St Arnaud on 33 hectares on the St Arnaud-Sebastopol Hill Road.
Two more planned burns will be carried on Tuesday.
One will be over 10 hectares in the Newstead township, on Newstead-Woods Road.
The other burn will be across 179 hectares four kilometres north of Maryborough, on the Maryborough-Black Jacks Track.
The burns will take place between 10am and 8pm. Smoke could be visible until Friday in Rushworth, Newstead, Muckleford, Maryborough, Carisbrook and St Arnaud.
