Summer six soccer season shapes up

Super 6 soccer returns to Bendigo this summer.

Played at Truscott Reserve in California Gully, the six-a-side competition proved popular for junior and senior players last summer.

“Many local clubs utilise the competition as a way to maintain continuity, fitness and social interaction throughout the off season,’’ Super 6 organiser Nathan Claridge said.

“Many other people take the opportunity to enjoy the social side of soccer during the warmer months in a relaxed and fun atmosphere.

“The competition also allows young players to continue playing outdoors, on grass and developing their soccer skills year round.”

Claridge said Super 6 caters for soccer players of all abilities, with age groups ranging from under-7 through to senior men, women and social divisions.

The season starts on October 27. For more details go to www.supersixsoccer.com
