Man injured in motorcycle crash at Adelaide Lead, near Maryborough

UPDATE 4.32pm: A man has been flown to The Alfred in Melbourne following a motorcycle crash near Maryborough.

Air Ambulance was called to convey the man to hospital after he came off his bike at Adelaide Lead about 1:20pm.

An Ambulance Victoria spokesman said the man was in a serious condition.

EARLIER: An Air Ambulance is attempting to land at Adelaide Lead, near Maryborough, after a man came off his motorcycle. 

An Ambulance Victoria spokesman said the man sustained injuries to his pelvis and leg.

The motorcyclist is believed to have crashed into a tree. 

Emergency services received the call for help about 1:20pm. 

Police and paramedics are among the units at the scene.
