Proceeds from the pin sales will support youth homelessness organisation Ladder, which provides programs and accommodation to young people who have experienced, or are at risk of, homelessness.
Among those supporting the campaign is Collingwood AFLW player Emma Grant, who is also a youth mentor for Ladder Bendigo.
“Zero is the only acceptable number of homeless young people. Every young person deserves the chance to build a bright future,” Grant said on Wednesday.
“Youth homelessness is an issue that needs to be addressed by the whole community.”
Ladder Bendigo is currently working with 14 people aged between 17 and 25 from a range of backgrounds and personal situations.
“Most of the young people we work with have been unable to remain in stable housing due to intergernational poverty, family violence and have experienced family breakdown and conflict for a variety of reasons. These young people now have a safe and supportive environment they can call home,” Ladder Bendigo health and wellbeing coach Denis Grinton said.
The premiership pins will be available for $5.
