Jones was reported and yellow-carded for striking Calivil United’s Jake Lawry seven minutes into the first quarter.
Jones pleaded guilty at the tribunal on Wednesday night and is one of two Bridgewater players suspended following the grand final.
Captain Zeb Broadbent took a two-match set penalty for striking the Demons’ Lachlan McAllister in the final term.
Calivil United won the grand final 13.16 (94) to 8.12 (60) to claim its first flag since 2008.
