When grumpy green ogre Shrek has his swamp invaded by banished fairytale creatures, he sets off to confront tiny villain Lord Farquaad.
With the wise-cracking Donkey as his sidekick, Shrek is forced to rescue the independent Princess Fiona to get his swamp back.
