The Tornadoes advanced after upstaging minor premier Dandenong in the preliminary final in Melbourne on Sunday.
The Rangers were eliminated in straight sets after losing to the Tornadoes 83-78.
Dandenong led by as many as 17 points in the second quarter, before the Tornadoes staged a stunning comeback. Lauren Nicholson (25 points and nine rebounds) and Tayla Roberts (21 points, 17 rebounds and five assists) were the heroes for Launceston.
The east conference women’s final will be played between Kilsyth and Geelong.
