Police have seized drums of chemicals used to make methamphetamines from bushland north of Bendigo this morning.

Acting Sergeant Mick Delaney said police were called to thick bush on Crown land in Neilborough after someone found the five containers “of unknown substances”.
Police investigators headed to the scene before calling in the Melbourne-based Clandestine Laboratory Squad.
Acting Sergeant Delaney said three of the 20-litre drums contained hydrochloric acid and two contained ammonia, both of which were used to make methamphetamines.
The five drums were seized by the Clandestine Laboratory Squad and have been taken back to Melbourne.
Bendigo police are continuing to investigate how the chemicals found their way into the bushland.
