South Bendigo’s Yazmin Hayes, Bendigo University’s Wil McCaig, and Bendigo Harriers’ Matilda Moore have earned selection in the Victorian line-up to compete in Hobart.
A student at Rochester Secondary College, Hayes will race in the 14-15 years class.
The talented teenager was seventh in the state cross country finals at Bundoora.
Moore’s great season included fifth place in the 16-years race at the state titles.
The Girton Grammar student will compete in the 16-17 years division at the SSA championships in Hobart.
McCaig was runner-up in the 15-boys final at the SSV state titles and will race in the 14-15 years division at the nationals.
The Bendigo South East student has improved dramatically in cross country and track events in the past year.
