THE bottom sides in each of the NPL division two conferences will meet on Saturday when the Eastern Lions host Bendigo City FC.

With three rounds left Bendigo (0-2-23) sits on the bottom of the west conference ladder, while the Lions (6-6-13) are last in the east conference.

While the year continues to be a tough challenge for the young side, Bendigo City FC has scored in its past four games, including Kevin Walker finding the back of the net in each of the past two against Ballarat City and Melbourne Victory.

Walker and Anthony Marafioti are Bendigo City FC’s joint leading goalscorers with three each.

Saturday’s game will be played at Gardiners Creek Reserve, Burwood, from 3pm.
