The North Central league features 14 grades of competition in football (four), netball (six) and hockey (four).
In total, Wedderburn racked up 139 wins from 212 games, with the Redbacks’ netballers leading the way.
The Redbacks boasted a remarkable 83-8 record across their A grade, B grade, C grade, 16-under A, 16-under B and 13-under netball teams.
Wedderburn finished on top in each of the grades, apart from 16-under B, with the Redbacks having to instead settle for second.
Five of the league’s eight clubs won more than 100 games overall – Wedderburn (139), Boort (126), St Arnaud (105), Sea Lake Nandaly Tigers (104) and Birchip-Watchem (100).
The club with the best football record was St Arnaud (41-20-1), which narrowly edged out Birchip-Watchem (41-21).
The Saints finished top two in the reserves, under-16s and under-13s football, but their senior side claimed the wooden spoon.
Boort (39-11-8) was the top performing hockey club, while the Magpies are also the most represented club in the finals with 11 teams.
