The Raiders moved into third spot and the Blues into fourth spot after they scored narrow victories over Spring Gully and Eaglehawk respectively.
Two first-half goals gave Moama-Echuca a handy advantage over the Borough.

Amanda Sgarito scored for the Reds in the 65th minute and, when Ally Van Daley added another in the 85th minute, the home side had the opportunity to steal a draw.
Despite the brave fightback the Blues held on to grab three points and jump the Borough into fourth spot.
At the top of the table, Shepparton United crushed Colts United 11-0, while the Epsom Scorpions defeated Swan Hill 8-0.
Liz Watkins scored four goals for the Scorpions, Paige Gordon added two, while Caitlin Robertson and Kayla Arkinstall scored one goal each.
