Police are warning people in Moama to be vigilant after fuel thefts in a residential court.

Late on Friday night police believe an offender or offenders attempted to steal fuel from a car in a driveway in Annie Court.
About 11.30pm the owner of the vehicle heard the car alarm but noticed nothing untoward. The following morning he found the side sliding door slightly ajar, but still locked, and an oil container near the front yard.
Police said fuel had recently been stolen from vehicles in the nearby area and urged residents to be vigilant in Annie Court and surrounding streets in Moama.
