The Navies notched their third victory of the season with the 17.8 (110) to 14.8 (92) win at St Arnaud.
Coach Aaron Walklate led the way for the Navies to be their best player, while Cody Gunn and Anthony Judd kicked four goals apiece.
Nick Coghlan booted six goals and Jacob Tillig was best for the Saints, who had to play catch-up after trailing by 26 points at quarter-time.
