Suzuki DRZ 400 and Honda CRF trail bikes along with motorcycle helmets, jackets and other gear were stolen from a locked garage between 8am and 5pm.
Paul Nelson said his wife came home from work to see the garage open.
“She rang to ask if I had been home and left the roller door up,” he said.
“I hadn’t so told her she better look to make sure everything was there.”
Firearms were also stolen from a locked gun safe in the same robbery.
“They ripped the gun safe off the floor and off the wall,” Mr Nelson said.
“We have made a report to police and they have been out and taken fingerprints and seen whatever else they can find.”
It is believed the thieves damaged the garage roller door to gain access.
Mr Nelson said he was devastated at the theft.
“That the items are gone is devastating and there is sense of invasion,” he said.
“It’s an uneasy feeling to know that someone has been wandering around your house without your consent and or us being here.”
Mr Nelson is urging anyone who may of seen something or may have information to get in touch with the police.
If you know something, or see the bikes, phone Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
