Coming off a loss to Canberra the previous week, the Lady Braves proved too strong for the Blues for the second time in three weeks, winning 70-58 at Frankston.
The 12-point victory – Bendigo’s sixth in a row against Frankston – improved the south conference-leading Lady Braves’ record to 13-5.
Starters Chante Black (19), Tahnee Cannan (14) and Bianca Dufelmeier (10) all scored in double figures for the Lady Braves, who gave court time to 12 players.
The Bendigo Braves were also in action against Frankston on Friday night.
Both teams play again at the Bendigo Stadium on Saturday night as part of a weekend double. The Lady Braves meet Geelong from 6pm and the Braves take on Sandringham at 8pm.
