Police are investigating after the Echuca post office was broken into early this morning.
Officers were called to the Pakenham Street Echuca Post Shop after a security alarm was activated at the store at 1.22am.
When police arrived they found the front glass doors smashed by a rock and mobile phones stolen.
Sergeant John Trebilcock said police were reviewing CCTV footage and investigations were ongoing.
It is the fifth overnight break-in for Echuca police in the past week.
Last Monday, cash was stolen from St Mary's Parish in Anstruther Street between midnight and 3am when offenders broke into an office area.
On the same morning, a High Street business has cupboards and drawers rifled through.
On Friday, a second High Street business had its window smashed and an iPad stolen; and on Saturday, property was stolen from a Hare Street business between 3am and 4am.
The break-ins come as the region enters its fourth week of the Campaspe Crime Crackdown.
Sergeant Trebilcock urged anyone with information about any of the break-ins to contact police by calling the Echuca station on 5483 1500, Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submitting a confidential report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au.
