EARLIER: POLICE are on the scene after a truck became stuck under a bridge on Chapel Street in Kangaroo Flat.
The red Isuzu courier truck was caught under the bridge before 3pm.
It appears to be blocking traffic in both directions.
It is the second time in eight days a truck has become stuck under a bridge near the railway line through Bendigo.
Last Monday, a removal truck became stuck under the Laurel Street bridge in Golden Square and required a winch to be dragged free. The driver was issued a penalty notice.
Another truck crashed into the side of the Laurel Street bridge last April after swerving to avoid an oncoming car.
More to come.
