The two teams couldn’t be having a more contrasting season, with the 9-0 Thunder setting the pace on top of the ladder, while La Trobe University is on the bottom and still to win a game.
Highlighting what a struggle it has been for La Trobe Uni, Thunder star forward Andrea Walsh’s tally of 36 goals is 15 more than La Trobe University has kicked for the season. Sunday’s game starts at 2pm.
Meanwhile, there will be a local derby in the Northern Country Women’s League on Sunday when North Bendigo hosts the Thunder’s development team from 2pm.
