Police officers were on their way to impound a car in Sherwood Drive, Flora Hill, just after 2pm on Tuesday.
On the way, the highway patrol members stopped a 28-year-old disqualified driver in a borrowed Holden sedan.
The car she was driving was impounded for 30 days at cost of $1300 due to previous driving offences and she will be charged on summons with a number of offences including driving while disqualified.
Sergeant Geoff Annand said the Kangaroo Flat woman also tested positive for methamphetamine in a roadside drug test.
Afterwards, police continued on to impound the original car in Sherwood Drive, this time from a Flora Hill woman. The 28-year-old’s car was impounded for 30 days after a second drug-driving offence.
