THE Statue of Liberty, Big Ben, an Easter Island head, and a giant sushi roll were among the attendees at a school function today.
Victory Christian College students wore outfits inspired by global destinations for Wacky Wednesday.
If the costumes were any indication, the students – and their creative assistants – took great pride in meeting the ‘Around the World’ design brief.
For several students, achieving the desired look involved a commitment to face and body paint.
Others took on the challenge of constructing a replica of some of their destination’s most iconic attractions.
The students had the opportunity to showcase their creativity during a parade, organised by the Student Representative Council.
A range of activities followed, to further encourage students to embrace the many and diverse cultures and countries that shape our society.
