The meetings, held at 1pm on the third Tuesday of the month, are open to anyone affected by cancer, carers, and those wanting to learn more about the illness.

Guest speakers occasionally attend to provide information on a range of topics, such as healthy eating, transport and financial assistance, and support for carers, among others.

The group also holds a social lunch on the first Tuesday of the month.
