Kangaroo Flat Primary School’s prep students attended Ulumbarra Theatre on Tuesday to watch The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show, a journey through the famous Eric Carle story, as well as some of his other bestsellers.
Students dressed for the occasion with handmade caterpillar hats, which transformed them into the colourful insect with the insatiable appetite.
The students also contributed to a display for the show by making a large poster for the theatre.
The stories in the show, which also included The Artist Who Painted a Blue Horse, The Very Lonely Firefly and Mister Seahorse, were brought to life with 75 puppets.
