The sleek Superoos won 65-45 over a finals bound Mean Machine, giving them their 10th win from 11 matches.
Only one of the Superoos' remaining five matches is against a team currently in the top five.
That arrives on July 15 against Pyramid Hill, which inflicted their only loss of the season in round six, by a solitary goal.
Mitiamo's 20-goal win put a dent in Bridgewater's top three aspirations, with Bridgewater heading into a round 13 clash against Inglewood trailing third-placed Pyramid Hill by four points and considerable percentage.
The Superoos face Marong next Saturday at Malone Park.
At Pyramid Hill, the rampaging Bulldogs kept the pressure on top pair Mitimao and Newbridge with a 64-31 win over Marong.
The Bulldogs benfited from top performances by Emily Prout, who made the switch from wing defence to wing attack for this game, and their accurate goaling combination of Zoe Kennedy and Jess Holdstock.
It was the latest in a string of quality performances this season from Kennedy.
"She always gives 100 per cent - she's out there to win," said Bulldogs coach Deb Forster.
"As all the girls are, they all have a strong will to win."
Forster was anticipating a tough match next week against a rested Bears Lagoon-Serpentine, who will be looking to regain a position in the top five.
"There will definitely be no slacking off from us - Serp are humming," she said.
"No game is easy, even on Saturday we won by a fair bit, but it by no means felt easy.
"It's the same each week, the girls really have to work or it (the win).
"Especially next week .. then we have the bye and then Mitiamo ... we'll really need to keep up the momentum."
At Marist College, Calivil United defeated Maiden Gully YCW 45-34.
The Demons took advantage of Bears Lagoon-Serpentine's inactivity due to the bye to climb back into the five by scoring their fifth win of the season.

Calivil United has the bye next week and returns to action against reigning premiers Newbridge on July 8, with another tough match against Bridgewater to follow a week later.
The loss was another blow to the Eagles' finals hopes.
At Inglewood, Newbridge rebounded from a rare defeat to beat the Blues 65-19.
Meanwhile, in North Central Netball Association matches on the weekend, Boort defeated St Arnaud 64-27, reigning premiers Charlton lost to Birchip-Watchem 49-62, Sea Lake-Nandaly Tigers were too strong for Wycheproof Narraport 75-22, and Weddeburn defeated Donald 61-34.
Perennial powerhouse Wedderburn heads the ladder undefeated on 9-0, ahead of the Tigers (8-1), Boort (6-3) and Donald (5-4).
