Baird bagged eight goals as the Dogs cruised to their 34th straight win over the Kangaroos, 20.17 (137) to 1.7 (13).
The Roos had no answer to Baird’s aggression and contested ball-winning skills.
He now has 29 goals for the season, including 16 in the past three games.
Square star Jack Geary was back to his brilliant best with a great game through the middle of the ground, while Braydon Welsh and Tom Toma also impressed. Teenager Rhys Mutch kicked three goals.
The Roos’ total of 1.7 (13) was their lowest score since they kicked 1.7 (13) against Maryborough in round 18, 1999.
Midfielder Jonathan Lanyon was once again the Kangaroos’ best player, Lloyd Needs battled hard, while Dylan Klemm was their lone goal scorer in the second quarter.
