All Tech Asia Pacific vice president Matthew Smith said Victorian agriculture continued to grow.
“Our main need (in expanding) is to house three businesses that run as one company (in one location),” he said. “Our biggest sales region in Australia is Victoria, so it important to continue to grow there.”
Mr Smith said technology that helped feeding systems, had facial recognition for cows and automation in calving was helping farmers.
“It wasn’t too long ago that people (were against) technology and automated systems in farming,” he said.
“But farmers are embracing technology because they understand what it does for them.
“The biggest change in technology years is information transfer. Farming is a daily business.
“The future (of farming) is about automation. I may not have said that a couple years ago but I will happily say it today.”
