Mr Arnold put the book together after finding a book full of photos of 19th century Bendigo buildings.
After reproducing them, he took his own photos of what the buildings look like today and called it Bendigo: Yesterday and Today.
“Some buildings I can’t do it with because they are gone or you can’t see them anymore,” he said.
“The original book (from 1891) was made on very thick cardboard and was weathered, all the pages were distorted.
“What I like about this book is that people who I didn’t think would show an interest pick it up and can’t put it down.”
Ken moved from Arnold 50 years ago and has been in publishing ever since.
His next book is called Glimpses of Central Victoria.
Bendigo: Yesterday and Today retails for $25 and is available at the Information Centre in Pall Mall, Bendigo Pottery and Strath Village.
