Bendigo Harness Racing Club is hosting the August 5 night but proceeds from an auction and raffle will support the BCHS clinics.
The support is timely with BCHS establishing a specialist men’s health clinic in a new expanded site at 171 Hargreaves Street from July.
Well-established women’s, sexual health and general practice clinics will continue to operate from the new site.
BHRC marketing manager Brendan Baker said the club was keen to support men’s and women’s health in Bendigo.
“We are super excited to have two outstanding sports people and community-minded role models in attendance at the Bendigo Harness Racing Club,” Brendan said.
“The show will be an outstanding insight not only into their sporting achievements but also what makes them tick off the field.
“We are really pleased to support BCHS as we have a great relationship and we are really keen to raise funds for their men’s and women’s health clinics as this is a very important part of our community here in Bendigo.”
BCHS CEO Kim Sykes welcomed the Bendigo Harness Racing Club support.
“Our health clinics play a really important role in the community by supporting people who need care, advice and support. The support from Bendigo Harness Racing Club will allow us to build on the great work being done by the staff working out of these clinics,” she said.
“We thank the club for their support and urge the community to go along and enjoy the night.”
Tickets for The Bartel and McMahon Show are $60 per person which includes a two-course meal.
