The video shows students, teachers and staff of Echuca College dancing to Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars’ massive 2014 hit Uptown Funk.
Principal Chris Eeles said the video was created “as a bit of fun” for the school’s recent Wellbeing Focus Day, a day of activities to promote mental health and wellbeing, and positive relationships within the school community.
As of Thursday morning, the video had been shared more than 400 times on Facebook, attracted nearly 600 comments, and garnered more than 1600 likes.
The Wellbeing Focus Day included guest speakers from diverse backgrounds, hip hop dancing, a variety of workshops from yoga to robotics, a talent show, an art show, food vans, and fun physical activities.
The day culminated in a colour run, the launch of the school’s Relay For Life campaign and a memorial to late teacher Tony Spizzica, who passed away last year.
