But what would have Nietzsche thought of walking around Bendigo?
A hot topic of conversation in the Bendigo Addy newsroom this morning was the worst spots for pedestrians in Bendigo.
The three that were most agreed upon were the corner of Queen and Williamson streets in the CBD, the crossings at Mitchell Street and Railway Place near the railway station and the Alexandra Fountain crossing at View Point.
In our experience, the Queen Street and Railway Place crossings force pedestrians to keep a wary eye out for impatient cars.
The consensus of the Alexandra Fountain crossing was that the green man doesn’t give enough time to get from one side of the four lane road, to the other.
What do you think? Where are the worst spots for pedestrians to walk in Bendigo?
