A HAUL of 21 points in last Saturday night's nail-biting win over the Hobart Chargers has taken Bendigo Braves big man Matt Andronicos past the 500 point mark in SEABL games.
The Braves' 2016 championship centre reached the milestone with his eighth point of the game in the third quarter.
Andronicos is in his second season with the Braves.
His first 92 points came in a 11-game stint with the Canberra Gunners back in 2012 before a NBL development opportunity with the Cairns Taipans.
Andronicos is averaging 11 points and seven rebounds for the Braves this season, above his career averages of 9.5 points per gamer and 5.7 rebounds.
His 21 points against Hobart on Friday night and an earlier season 22 point game against the same opponent are the two highest-scoring games of his SEABL career.
The Braves meet the Frankston Blues at Bendigo Stadium on Saturday night.
They start the week in fourth place on ther SEABL south conference ladder at 9-7, behind the Ballarat Miners (10-5), Hobart Chargers (9-5) and Dandenong Rangers (10-6).
Mount Gambier Pioneers lead the east conference on 12-2, ahead of the Nunawading Spectres (13-3), Geelong Supercats (10-5) and Albury-Wodonga Bandits (8-6).
