The Bureau of Meteorology is warning people in the Northern Country and Mallee frosts with temperatures down to -1 degrees are forecast.
Bendigo was sitting on 0 degrees at 6am, but with an apparent temperature of -2.4 degrees.

Once the frost clears, Bendigo is headed for a partly cloudy day with a top of 13 degrees - Castlemaine 13; Redesdale, Maryborough & Echuca 14; Kyneton 12.
The warning is also relevant for the eastern parts of the state, with the North East, West and South Gippsland and East Gippsland forecast districts also included.
