Detective Senior Constable Stuart Poulton said police did not know the motive for the attack, but the victims were believed to have been targeted.

EARLIER: POLICE are asking for the public’s help as they investigate an aggravated burglary in California Gully that left two people hospitalised.
Police believe several offenders, armed with weapons including a taser, a metal pole and bats, entered the Laurie Court house on Friday, February 24.
They assaulted three occupants of the home, which caused a 20-year-old man and a 46-year-old man to be hospitalised.
Detective Senior Constable Stuart Poulton believes the offenders deliberately targeted the address, and described the crime as “a cowardly attack on three unsuspecting victims”.
