The crash, between a white Toyota sedan and a silver Honda four-wheel-drive, happened just after 11am at the intersection of Panton and Maple streets.
Paramedics treated three people – one believed to be in their 20s, and two elderly patients, an Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said.
The two taken to Bendigo Health were in a stable condition.
The intersection was blocked while crews worked at the scene, with police officers directing traffic.
Police are still investigating the cause of the collision, but believe one driver failed to give way.
Senior Constable Nat O’Neill urged motorists to be safe.
“If you can just take care on the roads and make sure you give way,” she said.
Crews from Victoria Police, Ambulance Victoria and the Country Fire Authority attended the crash.
