SATURDAY: Police are investigating after a fire in a vacant house this morning.
Firefighters were called to the blaze in Energetic Street, Ironbark, just after 2.30am.
A spokesperson for the Country Fire Authority said the single-storey brick house was well alight when crews arrived.
It took three trucks from the Bendigo Fire Brigade 15 minutes to bring the blaze under control.
The house is under police guard this morning.
An arson chemist and fire investigators are en route to determine the cause of the blaze.
